The Syrian Establishment for Building and Construction (SEBCO), Tartus Branch, announces an urgent sealed-envelope tender for the supply of reinforcing steel bars required for the execution of reinforced concrete works at the branch level.

Required Quantities

The total quantity required is 216 metric tons of reinforcing steel, distributed across the following diameters:

  • Diameter 8 mm: 90 tons
  • Diameter 10 mm: 12 tons
  • Diameter 12 mm: 10 tons
  • Diameter 16 mm: 10 tons
  • Diameter 20 mm: 4 tons
  • Diameter 25 mm: 100 tons (per original schedule)
  • Diameter 32 mm: Total aggregate 216 tons

Financial Conditions and Guarantees

The provisional guarantee is set at SYP 975,000 (nine hundred and seventy-five thousand new Syrian pounds). The final guarantee amounts to 10% of the contract value. Bidders remain bound by their offers for 60 calendar days from the submission date.

Execution Period and Closing

The supply execution period is 20 calendar days from the contract award date. Offers must be submitted no later than the end of official working hours on Monday, 11 May 2026. Envelope opening will take place at 10:00 AM on 12 May 2026.

About the Issuing Authority

The Syrian Establishment for Building and Construction (SEBCO) is a public-sector entity established in 2025 through the merger of five state construction companies. It is responsible for housing, infrastructure, and public utilities projects across Syrian governorates. The Tartus Branch is located at Project Six, adjacent to the Civil Affairs Directorate, in the city of Tartus.

Sealed offers must be submitted to the registry of the Syrian Establishment for Building and Construction, Tartus Branch, located at Project Six, adjacent to the Civil Affairs Directorate, no later than the end of official working hours on Monday, 11 May 2026.
