The Syrian Establishment for Construction and Building (SEBCO), Aleppo branch, has announced a sealed-envelope tender to supply reinforcing steel of various diameters for the branch's projects in Aleppo. The notice was issued for the first time under the expedited procedure.

Tender Subject

The tender covers the supply of 1,100 tonnes of reinforcing steel in different diameters. The notice does not list technical specifications, which are referred to the special conditions and technical specifications booklet.

Bonds and Fees

• Initial bond: 3,000,000 Syrian pounds, submitted as a certified cheque, a bank transfer or a bank guarantee.
• Final bond: 3% of the contract value.
• Conditions and specifications booklet: priced at 15,000 Syrian pounds, available through the establishment's legal department.
• Advertising fees: borne by the contractor.

Supply Period and Bid Validity

The establishment set the supply period at thirty days. Bidders are bound by their offers for 60 days.

Submission and Opening Dates

Offers are accepted until Wednesday, 11 November 2026. They are opened at the Aleppo branch administration on the day after the submission period ends, at 12:00 noon.

The tender gives building-materials suppliers an opportunity to contract with SEBCO's Aleppo branch, and bidders should review the conditions booklet before preparing their financial offers.
