The Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) has announced the opening of a pre-qualification process for contracting companies and contractors interested in later participating in the execution of works at Al-Asfari Hospital and Saraqib Specialized Hospital, both located in Idlib governorate.

Purpose of Pre-Qualification

The notice aims to identify companies and contractors with the technical, financial and executional experience and capacity required, in preparation for inviting them to later participate in the request-for-proposal procedures covering rehabilitation, restoration, construction and execution works, in accordance with the technical specifications, bills of quantities and tender documents to be issued to qualified parties.

Submission Process

SAMS has made the required qualification documents available through a dedicated link. Applications for qualification began on 27 August 2026 and continue until the stated final deadline. Applications are to be submitted via the designated email address, with applicants required to use the specified English subject line as stated in the notice.

Procedural Notes

The notice specifies that this step is limited to the pre-qualification stage, and does not constitute a direct invitation to submit a financial offer or to contract. SAMS will subsequently invite companies and contractors who meet the qualification requirements to participate in the request-for-proposal procedures for the execution of the works. SAMS also reserves the right to accept or reject qualification applications according to its approved evaluation criteria, without any obligation toward applicants.
