The Electricity Administration of Latakia Governorate has announced a standard public tender numbered /83/ for 2026, covering the rehabilitation of the medium voltage network on the Salma line, extending from the Basufa area to the entrance of Salma town.

Scope of Works

The tender covers rehabilitation works on the medium voltage network along the Salma line between Basufa and the entrance of Salma, within Latakia governorate, aimed at improving the efficiency of electricity distribution in this section.

Value and Guarantees

• Estimated value of the works: SYP 1,364,034.
• Initial guarantee: SYP 68,202.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the awarded contract value.
• Tender document fee: SYP 3,000.

Execution Period and Warranty

The issuing authority set the execution period at 25 days, with a warranty period of one full Gregorian year starting from the date of provisional handover of the works.

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must hold a fourth or fifth grade classification in the electricity specialty according to the criteria of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, in line with the nature of this tender. Bidders must also submit all required supporting documents and specify their chosen legal domicile, otherwise their bid will be rejected.

Submission and Bid Opening Dates

The deadline for receiving bids is set at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, while envelopes will be opened at the administration's building at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
