The General Company for Drinking Water and Sewage in Suwayda has announced an internal sealed-envelope tender for replacing polyethylene water lines of various diameters in the Salkhad economic unit, in line with the special conditions prepared for the purpose.

Scope of Works

The tender covers the replacement of polyethylene water lines of different diameters within the Salkhad economic unit in Suwayda governorate. It carries tender number 165199, and the notice was published on 28 October 2026.

Value and Guarantees

• Estimated value of the bill of quantities: SYP 12,000,517.
• Initial guarantee: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.
• Execution period: seventy-five calendar days.

Key Dates

Offers are accepted until the end of official working hours on Sunday, 29 November 2026. Bids will be opened in a public session on Monday, 30 November 2026 at 10:00 a.m., in the presence of bidders.

A bidder remains bound to its offer for sixty days from the day after the submission period ends at the company's registry. The nominated contractor remains bound for ninety days from the day after it is notified of the award.

Eligibility Requirements

• Bidders must be classified under the contractor classification system issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
• The required specialty is water and sewage networks and dams, at grade five or six.
• Any bid above SYP 1,000,000 is rejected unless accompanied by a subscription document to the official announcements bulletin.
