The General Authority for Border Crossings and Customs has announced a first-round, full-urgency tender for the execution of rooftop waterproofing and insulation works at the Jdeidet Yabous Border Crossing, in accordance with the special conditions dossier prepared for this purpose.
The estimated project value is USD 186,150, with a contractual execution period of 90 calendar days commencing from the date of award. The works cover the application of thermal and waterproof insulation systems to existing building rooftops within the border crossing compound.
Applicants must hold a specialization in building construction and be classified under one of the following categories: Premium, First, or Second Class. In the case of a joint venture, all partners must submit both provisional and final guarantees, accompanied by a declaration of joint and several liability.
Submitted envelopes will be opened on 14 July 2026 at 12:00 noon at the office of the Tender Committee Chairman. Offers not accompanied by the required provisional guarantee will be rejected.
The General Authority for Border Crossings and Customs is a Syrian government body established by presidential decree in November 2025, headquartered in Damascus and reporting directly to the Presidency of the Republic. The Authority oversees all land and maritime border crossings and manages customs operations across Syria.
How to Apply
Interested bidders must visit the General Authority for Border Crossings and Customs, Directorate of Finance, Contracts Division, to obtain the tender dossier for a fee of USD 100, plus financial stamps amounting to SYP 1,056 (new).
Offers must be submitted to the Authority's General Registry in a sealed, stamped envelope addressed to the Directorate of Finance (Contracts Division), containing two separate sealed envelopes: the first for supporting documents and the second for the financial offer.
In cases of joint ventures, all partners must submit both provisional and final guarantees, and the application must include a statement of joint and several liability.
Submission deadline: End of business on Monday, 13 July 2026. Offers not accompanied by the provisional guarantee will be rejected.
