Al-Rai Industrial City has announced a second-round, fast-track tender by sealed envelope for the project to complete road quarries in the first expansion, together with all required works in various areas of the industrial city (Phase One).

Project Scope

The project covers the completion of road quarries in the first expansion and the related works needed in scattered areas inside the industrial city, as part of Phase One. The tender is being issued for the second time under the fast-track procedure.

Value and Guarantees

• Estimated bill of quantities value: SYP 3,676,050 (three million, six hundred and seventy-six thousand and fifty Syrian pounds).
• Initial guarantee: 3% of the estimated value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.
• Delay penalty: 0.1% (one per thousand) of the award value.

Duration and Contractor Requirements

The execution period is set at 30 days, with a one-calendar-year warranty period. The contractor must be classified in the Excellent or First category in the roads and bridges specialisation.

The nominated contractor remains bound to its offer for 30 days, starting the day after it is notified of the award. The contractor bears the full cost of all advertisements, however many are published.

• Deadline for offers: end of working hours on Tuesday, 17 November 2026.
• Bid opening session: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 18 November 2026, at the tender committee office (the finance department office of Al-Rai Industrial City).
