Taanita Municipality, located in the Baniyas district of Tartus Governorate, has announced a public tender using the sealed-envelope (full urgency) method for the execution of a road paving project covering road link connections as they exist within the town.

Estimated Value and Execution Period

The estimated project value is set at SYP 2,377,680. The contract execution period is thirty (30) days, commencing from the date the contractor is formally notified of the award.

Financial Conditions and Guarantees

• Initial guarantee: 5% of the estimated project value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the contract value.
• Delay penalty: 0.001 (one per thousand) of the contract value per day of delay.
• Tender dossier fee: SYP 10,000 (non-refundable).

Technical Requirements

The awarded contractor is required to appoint a resident engineer for the duration of works, unless the contractor personally holds an engineering qualification. The contractor bears all costs related to studies and public notices, regardless of how many times they are repeated.
