Kaf al-Ja' Municipality, located in the Al-Qadmus subdistrict of the Baniyas district in Tartus Governorate, has announced a sealed-envelope tender for the execution of road paving and asphalting works within the boundaries of the municipal sector.

Project Scope and Estimated Value

The estimated value of the project is SYP 729,525 (new Syrian pounds), with a contract execution period of 45 days from the date of award. The works cover paving and asphalting of road connections within the municipal area of Kaf al-Ja'.

Guarantees and Financial Conditions

• Preliminary guarantee: 5% of the bid value, submitted as a certified cheque or bank guarantee.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the awarded contract value, submitted as a certified cheque or bank guarantee.
• Bid validity period: 45 days from submission.
• Delay penalty: 0.001 of the contract value per day of delay.

Contractor Requirements

Bidders must hold a valid classification issued by the Ministry of Housing and Public Works under its most recent classification system. The contractor is required to assign a resident engineer to the project site if the contractor is not an engineer. All costs related to advertisement publication, tests, inspections, and applicable taxes are borne by the contractor.
