The Technical Services Directorate in Daraa has announced a domestic tender under the full-speed procedure, using sealed envelopes and the addition or reduction method, for supplying aggregates for roads in Daraa governorate, delivered to the directorate's crushing and stockpile site (Mujbil).

Scope of the Tender

Works are to be carried out under the special technical, financial and legal specification books, together with the bills of quantities and prices attached to the notice. The tender comprises three supply items for road works in the governorate, each with an execution period of 10 calendar days.

Supply Items and Estimated Values

• Supply of fine sand for roads in Daraa governorate: estimated value of 4,858,000 new Syrian pounds.
• Supply of medium sand for roads in Daraa governorate: estimated value of 4,050,000 new Syrian pounds.
• Supply of crushed stone (stock) for roads in Daraa governorate: estimated value of 2,894,760 new Syrian pounds.

Guarantees and Financial Terms

• Initial guarantee: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value, payable within ten days of the tender being awarded.
• Late-delivery penalty: 0.001 (one per thousand) for each day of delay.
• Bid validity: bidders and the nominated contractor remain bound by their offers for 150 days.
• Tender file price: 1,000 Syrian pounds, paid against a financial receipt.

Initial and final guarantees may be submitted as a certified cheque, a bank guarantee or a bank transfer.

Deadlines and Legal Framework

The notice sets the bid submission deadline at 15:00 on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, with bids to be opened at 10:00 the following morning.
