The Aga Khan Foundation Syria (AKF Syria) has issued a request for quotations for civil works involving the replacement of an existing concrete irrigation canal with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes in the Rural Damascus governorate. The tender is published through the WorkLink platform, which lists procurement notices from organizations operating in Syria.
The works entail the removal of the existing concrete irrigation channel and its replacement with an HDPE piping system. HDPE pipes are widely preferred in agricultural water management for their durability, corrosion resistance, and superior hydraulic efficiency compared to aging concrete infrastructure. This type of intervention supports improved irrigation performance and water resource conservation.
Bidders may submit their offers through one of two methods: electronically, by uploading all required documents in a password-protected folder via the designated link; or in person, by delivering a sealed envelope to the reception desk at the Aga Khan Foundation office in Salamiyah, Anas Ibn Malik Street, behind the SADCOP fuel station.
A public bid opening session will be held on Thursday, 30 July 2026 at 12:00 noon at the AKF office in Salamiyah. Bidders may attend in person, send an authorized representative, or participate remotely via the online link provided upon submission of documents.
