The Syrian Company for Construction and Building (SEBCO), Raqqa branch, has announced a sealed-envelope tender under the full-urgency procedure, issued for the second time, to supply the branch's requirement of reinforcing steel in various diameters for its projects, including the Maadan Bridge.

Tender Scope

The tender covers the supply of reinforcing steel in multiple diameters and is conducted under the technical, legal and financial specifications books, together with the special technical specifications. The notice sets the execution period at 40 calendar days.

Bonds and Commitments

• Initial bond: SYP 703,000.
• Final bond: 5% of the award value.
• Bidder commitment period: 10 days from the day after the bid deadline.
• Nominated contractor commitment period: 10 days from the date of award notification.

Bonds are paid by bank guarantee or certified cheque in favour of SEBCO Raqqa branch, or deposited in cash in the institution's account at the Central Bank in the bidder's name only, stating the subject of the tender.
