The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (Water and Rehabilitation Department) invites qualified companies and institutions to submit offers for Tender No. 329, covering the rehabilitation of three schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education in Tartus governorate.

Schools Covered

The project covers three schools in Tartus governorate:

• Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi School
• Abu Firas al-Hamdani School
• Al-Khwarizmi School

Scope of Works

The required works fall into three main areas:

• Civil and architectural works: site leveling, plastering and painting, installation of wooden and metal doors, and glazing.
• Water and sewage works.
• Electrical works.

Participation and Execution Terms

Offers must be submitted in sealed envelopes, as set out in the tender conditions file. Bidders are required to provide a guarantee of 592,000 new Syrian pounds, in the form of a certified cheque or a bank guarantee issued by an approved bank.

The execution period is sixty calendar days, counted from the date the contractor receives the commencement order or takes over the work site, whichever is later.
