Scope of Work

Damascus Governorate has announced a competitive tender for the full rehabilitation of its historic old building. The scope covers all technical, financial, and legal disciplines in accordance with a dedicated special conditions dossier prepared for this purpose.

Eligibility Conditions and Guarantees

• Contract execution period and bid validity: 180 days.
• Warranty period: 10 calendar years.
• Initial bond (security deposit): SYP 4,300,000 (four million three hundred thousand Syrian pounds).
• Final guarantee: 10% of the contract value.
• Tender dossier price: SYP 20,000.

Obtaining Tender Documents

The tender dossier may be obtained from the Contracts Department at the Damascus Governorate building during official working hours.

Bid Submission Deadline and Venue

Bids must be submitted to the Correspondence Department at the Damascus Governorate building no later than 15:20 on Thursday, 23 July 2026.

Bid Opening Session

Bids will be opened at 11:00 on Sunday, 26 July 2026, at the Tender Committee office within the Damascus Governorate building.

Bids must be submitted in person to the Correspondence Department at the Damascus Governorate building no later than 15:20 on 23 July 2026. The tender dossier is available from the Contracts Department at the same building for SYP 20,000.
