The Latakia Directorate of Awqaf announces a first-round public auction, pursuant to Decision No. 770 dated 29 August 2024, for the lease of a warehouse located at Property No. 1029 in the Al-Saliba district of Latakia city.

Property Details

The warehouse has a total area of 216 m2, and the lease term is set at three years. The opening monthly rental bid is USD 1,000, while both the preliminary and final security deposits are set at USD 5,000 each. The full auction amount must be presented on the day of bidding, with any outstanding balance settled immediately upon award.

Lessee Obligations

The successful lessee shall bear all applicable taxes, financial charges, municipal fees, and announcement costs. The lessee is also responsible for any repairs and outfitting of the premises at their own expense, with no right to claim compensation in this regard. The nominated bidder remains bound by their offer for a period of fifty days, commencing the day following official notification of the award.

Participation Procedures

Interested parties must visit the Latakia Directorate of Awqaf during official working hours to obtain the Special Conditions Booklet, at a cost of 100,000 Syrian Pounds, in addition to an auction participation stamp fee of 100,000 Syrian Pounds. Applications for participation are accepted until 10:00 a.m. on the day of the auction.

Participation requests are accepted until 10:00 a.m. on the auction date of 17 June 2026. The public bidding session will be held at the Directorate's premises at 11:00 a.m.
