Project Scope

The project covers restoration and rehabilitation works on the prefabricated warehouse blocks in Aleppo Industrial City. The tender is run as a sealed-envelope process and is governed by the contracts system issued under Law No. 51 of 2004.

Value and Guarantees

• Estimated value of the bill of quantities: SYP 7,973,000 (seven million nine hundred seventy-three thousand Syrian pounds).
• Initial bond: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final bond: 10% of the award value.
• Delay penalty: 0.1% (one per thousand) of the award value.
• Warranty period: one calendar year.

Execution and Contractor Requirements

The execution period is set at 120 days. Contractors must be registered in the third, second, first or excellent class, with a buildings specialization.

Bidders must keep their offers valid for 120 days. The nominated contractor remains bound to the offer for 120 days, counted from the day after being notified of the award. The contractor bears all advertising fees, however many times the notice is repeated.
