The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management has announced a request for price offers to supply an electricity generator for its fixed and mobile operations rooms. The request carries the number 26-MEDM-M-0005648 and is governed by the special technical, legal and financial specifications book.

Scope of Supply

The request covers the supply of one electricity generator for the ministry, with delivery to the ministry's warehouses in Damascus governorate. The execution period is 30 calendar days from the date the commencement order is signed, and payment is made in new Syrian pounds.

Guarantees and Validity Periods

• Provisional guarantee: SYP 67,000 (sixty-seven thousand Syrian pounds).
• Final guarantee: 10% of the contract value.
• Bidder's commitment to its offer: 60 calendar days from the day after the submission deadline.
• Nominated contractor's commitment to its offer: 90 calendar days from the day after being notified of the award.

Eligibility Conditions

Interested parties must visit the ministry's General Bureau to obtain the tender file for SYP 5,000 (non-refundable) and submit a sealed, duly signed written application. The file can be purchased until 29 October 2026.

Bidders must provide all required guarantees, and an offer is rejected if the guarantee is not paid. Offers must follow the approved forms and be submitted on time, and offers that do not meet the conditions are rejected automatically.

Joint Bids and Ministry Rights

Joint bids must include a participation request with an undertaking that the partners are jointly and severally liable. The ministry reserves the right to cancel or reissue the request without giving reasons and without any compensation to bidders.

The deadline for submitting offers is the end of working hours on 29 October 2026, and offers are scheduled to be opened on 1 November 2026.
