The Electricity Transmission Administration, part of the General Electricity Company, has announced internal tender No. /12/2026 for the installation and execution of OPGW ground fiber-optic cable works, together with their ancillary items. The works cover the 230 kV Hama 2 - Salhab entrances - Banias line.

Scope of Works

The tender covers installing and running the OPGW fiber-optic cable along the named line, including the associated accessories. The works follow the conditions set out in the tender file, which is published on the website and official accounts of the Syrian Electricity Company (SEC.SY).

Financial Details

• Estimated value: SYP 9,695,000.
• Provisional guarantee: SYP 484,750.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the contract value.
• Tender file price: SYP 5,000.

Duration and Eligibility

The execution period is set at four months, and bidders must keep their offers valid for three months.

Applicants must hold Third Category (electricity) classification. Contractors in the Second Category, First Category and Excellent Category may also apply.

The tender is issued by the Electricity Transmission Administration in Damascus. Interested parties can obtain the tender file from the Contracts Directorate at the Administration building. Tender information is also published through the official channels of the Syrian Electricity Company.
