Al-Furat University has announced an internal sealed-envelope tender, issued for the second time under urgent procedures, for the execution of maintenance works at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities building located at the university's Raqqa branch. The estimated project value is SYP 2,600,000 (new Syrian pounds), with an initial guarantee of SYP 130,000. The final guarantee is set at 10% of the awarded contract value. The execution period is 50 days from the date of award, and a delay penalty of 0.1% per day applies for any overrun.

Contractor Requirements

Bidders must hold a valid classification with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing under Decision No. 2828 of 2021, specifically in the Fourth Category (Buildings), with all classification documents duly certified.

Documentation and Registration

Tender documents are available from the Contracts Department at the university presidency, upon payment of SYP 1,000 to the Finance Directorate. A legal stamp of the same value must be affixed to the registration application. Any offer submitted without proof of document receipt will be rejected.

Submission and Opening

Offers must be submitted together with supporting documents, initial guarantees, and the financial proposal to the university presidency office, no later than 15:00 on Tuesday, 7 July 2026. Envelopes will be opened the following day at the university headquarters. Bidders remain bound by their offers for 90 days from the day after the opening date.

Offers must be submitted in sealed envelopes, accompanied by supporting documents, initial guarantees, and the financial proposal, to the Al-Furat University Presidency Office no later than 15:00 on Tuesday, 7 July 2026.
