Tender Overview

The General Corporation for Road Transport (GCRT) has issued an open call for qualified contractors to carry out maintenance and improvement works on the Fatt road in Syria. This tender forms part of the corporation's ongoing programme to upgrade the national central road network and improve traffic safety standards across key road corridors.

The General Corporation for Road Transport is a public institution of a developmental and service character, affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Transport. It manages the central road network spanning approximately 8,089 kilometres, of which over 1,520 kilometres are motorways. The corporation is headquartered in Damascus, on Al-Hamra Street, opposite the Parliament building.

Scope of Works

The works required under this tender include the following:

• Routine and emergency maintenance along the road corridor
• Engineering improvement works on the road section
• Enhancement of traffic safety measures and road markings
• Rehabilitation of road surfaces and ancillary structures in accordance with approved technical specifications
