The General Corporation for Road Transport (GCRT) has issued an open call for qualified contractors to carry out maintenance and improvement works on the Fatt road in Syria. This tender forms part of the corporation's ongoing programme to upgrade the national central road network and improve traffic safety standards across key road corridors.
The General Corporation for Road Transport is a public institution of a developmental and service character, affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Transport. It manages the central road network spanning approximately 8,089 kilometres, of which over 1,520 kilometres are motorways. The corporation is headquartered in Damascus, on Al-Hamra Street, opposite the Parliament building.
