The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Latakia Governorate has announced a sealed-bid request for proposals to supply, install and test mechanical and electrical equipment at the Shiditi 1 and Shiditi 2 stations. The notice carries number 11046 and is dated 26 October 2026. It is an expedited announcement, issued for the second time.

Tender Scope

The work covers the supply, installation and testing of mechanical and electrical equipment at both Shiditi stations. The notice gives no itemised equipment list. Specifications and quantities are set out in the tender documents.

Required Classification

The tender is open to contractors classified in one of the following fields:

• Mechanical works, grade four, five or six.
• Electrical works, grade four, five or six.

Financial Terms and Duration

• Preliminary bond: 750,000 Syrian pounds.
• Final bond: 10% of the award value.
• Execution period: 150 days.
• Bid validity: 90 days from the bid submission deadline.

Provisional bonds must be paid by guarantee, bank transfer or certified cheque, and cash is not accepted. The bidder bears the cost of the first and second announcements.

Submission Deadline

Bids are accepted until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, 10 November 2026. Bids are opened in a closed session, with the date set by the administration. Bids go to the registry office of the establishment, together with all supporting documents required under Law No. 51 of 2004.
