Tender Overview

The Latakia branch of the Syrian Establishment for Construction (Al-Mu'assasa as-Suriyya lil-Bina' wa at-Tashyid) has announced a sealed-bid tender, issued for the second time. The works are required for the Baradoun Dam project in Latakia governorate, under notice number 145247.

Scope of Works

The tender covers the following works, according to the items and quantities set out in the technical, legal and financial specification books of the tender file:

• Supply and installation of metal formwork for concrete pouring.
• Supply and execution of reinforcing steel of various diameters.
• Installation of embedded (dipped) metal parts.

Financial Terms and Duration

• Initial bond: 2,000,000 new Syrian pounds.
• Final bond: 10% of the award value.
• Execution period: 90 days.
• Bid validity: sixty days.
• Tender file price: 10,000 new Syrian pounds.

The notice does not state an estimated value for the works. The initial bond is a participation guarantee and not the tender value.
