Scope of Works

The Latakia Governorate Electricity Directorate (General Electricity Company) has announced tender no. 93 of 2026, issued at ordinary speed. The tender covers the works required to replace part of the starting cables on the Zuhairiyat line and the Ghanairi line.

Value and Bonds

The notice sets the estimated bill of quantities at SYP 4,397,971. The other financial terms are listed below:

• Tender document fee: SYP 3,000.
• Initial bond: SYP 219,899.
• Final bond: 10% of the award value.

Execution and Warranty

The execution period is 30 days. The warranty period is one calendar year starting from the date of provisional handover.

Bidder Requirements

The notice requires bidders to hold electrical contractor classification in the fifth or sixth grade under the Ministry of Public Works criteria. Bidders must also submit the required supporting documents and state their chosen domicile. According to the notice, a bid is rejected if either is missing.

The deadline for receiving bids is 2:00 pm on Sunday, 22 November 2026. Bids will be opened at the Directorate building at 12:00 noon on Monday, 23 November 2026.
