The General Authority for Water Resources has announced a domestic tender, using the addition-or-reduction method, for the rehabilitation and maintenance of irrigation networks built on small dams in Homs governorate. Scope of Works

The project covers irrigation networks on five small dams:

• Al-Zaafarana
• Al-Sindiyana
• Al-Tannuna
• Al-Baroudiya
• Al-Dalbouz

The execution period is set at three months.

Value and Financial Terms

• Estimated value: SYP 4,645,236.
• Initial bond: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final bond: 10% of the award value.
• Delay penalties: 0.001 (one per thousand) of the total contract value for each day of delay, capped at 20% of the total contract value.
• Bid validity: 90 days following the final submission deadline.

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must be classified in the fifth or sixth category in the specialisation of water and sewage networks and dams.

Matters not covered by the notice and the specific conditions book are governed by the Unified Contracts System (Law No. 51 of 2004) and the General Conditions Book (Decree No. 450 of 2004).
