Idlib Electricity Administration (the General Electricity Company) has announced ordinary-speed tender No. 9, issued for the first time under the add-or-deduct method. It covers the fabrication of steel towers in line with the tender file, the legal and technical specifications and the drawings prepared for the purpose.

Tender Scope

The works cover the fabrication of the following steel tower types:

• Low towers
• Medium towers
• Tangent (straight-line) towers
• Arc-type reinforcements

The tender is classified in the fifth category. Bidders should refer to the tender file and specification books for the technical details and drawings.

Value and Guarantees

The estimated value is SYP 32,893,750. The provisional guarantee is 5% of the value, set at SYP 1,644,688, while the final guarantee is 10% of the award value.

The tender file is priced at SYP 10,000.

Deadlines and Duration

• Deadline for receiving offers: Wednesday 25/11/2026.
• Offers opening: 12:00 noon on Thursday 26/11/2026.
• Execution period: 45 days.
• Bid validity: three months from the day after the submission period ends.

Participation Requirements

Interested parties should contact the Contracts Department to obtain the tender file. To be accepted, a contractor must submit a certificate from the Arab Establishment for Advertising proving its subscription in the official announcements bulletin for the tender year. Bidders must also provide all documents required under Article 11 of Contracts Regulation No. 51 of 2004.
