The Homs Governorate Electricity Directorate, part of the General Electricity Company, has announced an internal tender to improve voltage in the Abu Zaid (Al-Andalus) suburb for the second time, in accordance with the legal, financial and technical tender documents.

Scope of the Tender

The tender covers voltage improvement works in the Abu Zaid (Al-Andalus) suburb of Homs. According to the notice, this is the second time the tender has been issued. The required works include electrical and civil works.

Value and Guarantees

• Estimated value: 1,259,247 new Syrian pounds.
• Provisional guarantee: 62,963 new Syrian pounds.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.
• Late-delivery penalties: 0.001 of the total contract value for each day of delay.

Duration and Eligibility

The company set the execution period at thirty calendar days. The notice requires bidders to hold classification category four or five in electrical and civil works.

• Bidder commitment to its offer: 90 days from the day after the bid submission period ends.
• Awardee commitment to its offer: 90 days from the day after written notification of the award.
