The Directorate of Technical Services in Hama has announced a second-round tender by sealed envelope, under the provisions of Contracts Law No. 51 of 2004. The tender covers a project funded from the investment budget.

• Works duration: 150 days.
• Delay penalty: one per thousand for each day of delay.

Guarantees and Insurance

The initial deposit is 5% of the estimated value, and the final guarantee is 10% of the award value. Both are to be provided by certified cheque, financial receipt or bank guarantee for the project.

Insurance of the project with the Syrian General Insurance Establishment is mandatory.

Contractor Requirements

• Required classification: roads and bridges specialisation, in the first, second or third category.
• Bid validity period: 120 days.
• The contractor must provide a resident engineer at the site for the project.
• Technical file price: SYP 5,000.

The contractor bears the advertising fees, and the tender subscription fee must be paid. According to the notice, any bid that does not comply with its conditions is rejected.
