Hama Health Directorate has announced a full-speed tender for three rehabilitation projects at Suqaylabiyah National Hospital. The works cover the general surgery, outpatient clinics and gynecology departments.

Projects Required

For each project the directorate set the required contractor classification, the execution period and an estimated cost, as follows:

• Rehabilitation of the general surgery department: estimated cost SYP 9,796,430.
• Rehabilitation of the outpatient clinics department: estimated cost SYP 11,878,610.
• Rehabilitation of the gynecology department: estimated cost SYP 10,602,630.

The three estimates add up to SYP 32,277,670.

Classification and Duration

All projects require a contractor classified in buildings, grade 5 or 6, with an execution period of 120 days per project. The contractor must engage a resident engineer on the project.

Guarantees and Penalties

• Initial guarantee: 5% of the estimated cost of each project.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.
• Delay penalty: one per thousand for each day of delay.

Bid Validity Periods

A bidder remains bound to its offer for sixty days. The nominated contractor remains bound for ninety days from the date the contract is awarded to it.

Offers may be split, and a separate offer is submitted for each project.
