Hama City Council has announced, on an expedited basis and for the second time, a sealed-envelope tender (by the addition and deduction method) for laying a second layer of asphalt mix on Iraq Street in the city of Hama.

Scope of Works

The tender covers the laying of a second asphalt layer on Iraq Street. The procurement uses the sealed-envelope procedure, applied through the addition and deduction method stated in the notice.

Financial Terms

• Estimated value: 6,000,000 new Syrian pounds, equivalent to 600,000,000 old pounds.
• Provisional deposit: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final deposit: 10% of the award value.
• Tender file fee: 3,000 new Syrian pounds.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders are required to provide the following:

• A commercial register certificate.
• Membership of a chamber of commerce, industry, tourism or agriculture.
• The classification required for the work: roads, first, second or third category.
• A resident engineer assigned to the project.

Execution and Validity Period

The execution period is set at forty-five days. Bidders remain bound by their offers for ninety days.
