The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management in Damascus has issued, for the second time, a request for quotations to supply the specialised vehicles and equipment it requires, in line with the technical, legal and financial specification books for each quotation.

Scope of the Notice

The notice covers three quotations numbered 04311, 04274 and 04264. They concern the supply of specialised vehicles and equipment, and the detailed specifications for each item are contained in the tender books issued to interested bidders.

Financial Guarantees

• Provisional bond: SYP 6,429,890 for the total of the quotations.
• Final bond: 10% of the contract value.
• Payment currency: Syrian pound.

The notice does not state an overall estimated value for the supply. The amount above is the provisional bond, not the contract value.

Delivery and Bid Validity

• The execution period is 45 days after the order to commence is signed.
• A bidder remains bound by its offer for 60 calendar days, starting the day after the submission period ends.
• The nominated contractor remains bound for 90 calendar days, starting the day after it is notified of the award.

The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management issued the notice, and its Contracts and Procurement Department at the ministry building in Damascus handles enquiries about the tender. A copy of the notice was sent to the General Diwan, the Tenders Committee and Government Media.
