Tender Subject

The General Authority for Supply and Procurement has invited companies and suppliers to submit bids for the supply of elevators on behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, for Al-Biruni University Hospital in Damascus. The tender is numbered 130-U-2026 (130-ع-2026) and is subject to the remaining terms set out in the special and general conditions books.

Bonds and Dossier Price

The Authority set the provisional bond at SYP 750,000, to be provided under the special financial and legal conditions book in favour of the Authority. The final bond is 10% of the contract value, payable within 10 days in favour of the requesting entity.

The tender dossier costs USD 50 and is non-refundable.

Execution Period and Bid Validity

The execution period is eight months under the conditions books, starting from the date of the commencement order. Bidders remain bound by their offers for 120 calendar days, counted from the day after the bid submission deadline.

About the Issuing Authority

Decree No. 63 of 2026 established the General Authority for Supply and Procurement, which is linked to the General Secretariat of the Presidency and based in Damascus. Its creation aims to organise and unify contracting procedures to meet the needs of public entities.
