Scope of the Tender

The Homs Governorate Electricity Directorate, part of the General Electricity Company, has announced an internal tender for rehabilitating the electricity network in the town of Al-Zarah for 2026. The tender is conducted under the legal, financial and technical specification documents and carries the reference number 134418.

The works cover both electrical and civil components, and the authority has set the required classification at category four or five (electrical + civil works).

Value and Guarantees

• Estimated value: 1,157,788 new Syrian pounds.
• Provisional guarantee: 57,890 new Syrian pounds.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.
• Project file price: 3,000 new Syrian pounds.

Durations and Penalties

The execution period is set at thirty calendar days. A bidder remains bound to its offer for 90 days from the day after the bid submission period ends, and the awarded candidate is bound for 90 days from the day after receiving written notice of the award.

The delay penalty is one per thousand (0.001) of the total contract value for each day of delay.

Bids are accepted until the end of official working hours on Monday, 16 November 2026. The tender session takes place on Tuesday, 17 November 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
