The Technical Services Directorate in Daraa has announced a sealed-envelope tender for the completion of furnishing works at the new government house building in Daraa city, under internal tender request number 159041.

Project Scope

The project covers the completion of furnishing works for the newly built government administrative building in Daraa, in accordance with the technical, financial and legal specification books and the bills of quantities approved by the directorate.

Financial Guarantees

The directorate set the initial guarantee required for participation at 1,500,000 new Syrian pounds. The final guarantee stands at 10% of the awarded contract value, payable within ten days of notification. Both guarantees may be submitted as a certified check, bank guarantee, or bank transfer.

Execution and Compliance Terms

• Execution period: the shortest possible duration, to be specified by the bidder.
• Delay penalty: 0.001 (one per thousand) for each day of delay.
• Bid validity period: 150 days from the day following notification of contract award.
• Price of the tender file: 1,000 new Syrian pounds.

Legal Framework

Matters not addressed in the announcement are governed by Law No. 51 of 2004 and its executive instructions, as well as the general conditions booklet issued under Decree No. 450 of 2004.

Bids must be submitted according to the special conditions booklet to the Daraa Technical Services Directorate; any non-compliant bid will be rejected.
