The Daraa Electricity Directorate, part of the General Electricity Company, has announced tender No. 21 for the rehabilitation, maintenance and structural reinforcement of its old building on the Jordan Road. The notice was published on 22 October 2026.

Scope and Value

The tender covers rehabilitation, maintenance and reinforcement works on the building. The estimated cost of the project is set at SYP 81,017,460 (eighty-one million, seventeen thousand, four hundred and sixty Syrian pounds).

Durations and Guarantees

• Execution period: 360 days from the date of the commencement order.
• Project warranty: one full year from the date of provisional handover.
• Bid validity: 180 days from the day after the submission period ends.
• Provisional guarantee: SYP 4,050,873, payable before 12:30 pm by a certified bank cheque in the directorate's name or an official-text bank guarantee.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must be classified in the second, third or fourth grade with the Contractors Syndicate. These grades allow a broad range of classified contracting firms to take part in rehabilitation and reinforcement works.
