EMERGENCY ONG ETS, an independent and neutral Italian humanitarian organization founded in 1994, has issued a call for bids covering the civil works required to rehabilitate and reactivate the National Public Hospital of Al-Rastan in Homs Governorate. The initiative responds to a formal request from the Syrian Ministry of Health.
The tender covers the full scope of civil works necessary to rehabilitate the Al-Rastan National Public Hospital, a facility that was looted and rendered non-functional during the years of conflict. The tender is referenced under: SY_2026_OT_001_CIVIL WORKS.

It was formally recognized as an NGO in 1999 and has held Associate Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2015. Since 2018, it has been an official partner of the European Commission's Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO).
How to Apply
Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the instructions contained in the bidding documents, available for download at https://en.emergency.it/syria-tender/ from 22 July 2026. All submissions must be received no later than close of business (COB) on 10 August 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.
