The city council of As-Sanamayn in Daraa governorate has announced a sealed-bid tender open to both public and private sector contractors, for the execution of road paving and asphalting works within the city.

Scope of Works

The tender covers paving and asphalting of a number of roads inside the city of As-Sanamayn, and according to the official notice is classified under general services works. The tender is managed directly by the As-Sanamayn city council.

Estimated Value and Guarantees

The issuing authority set the estimated value of the works at 3,996,600 Syrian pounds. Bidding conditions include:

• An initial guarantee of 5% of the estimated value
• A final guarantee of 10% of the awarded contract value
• A tender document (dossier) fee of 4,000 Syrian pounds

Execution Period and Penalties

The execution period for the works is set at 30 working days from the start date. A delay penalty of 0.1% (one per thousand) of the contract value applies for each day of delay, while bidders remain bound to their offers for 60 days from submission.
