The Electricity Transmission Administration of the General Electricity Company has announced a second-round internal tender, number 11/2026, for the supply of aluminium/steel conductors with a 240/40 mm2 cross-section for 66 kV overhead power transmission lines, including attendance at testing.

Subject and Scope

The tender covers a total quantity of 2,000 tonnes of the specified conductors. It is conducted under the conditions set out in the tender file, which is published on the website and official accounts of the Syrian Electricity Company.

The supply is to be carried out with attendance at the tests of the delivered materials.

Value and Bonds

• Estimated value: USD 8,700,000.
• Payment mechanism: in Syrian pounds, based on the official market bulletin issued by the Central Bank of Syria on the due date, which is the day after the provisional handover record is issued.
• Provisional bond: SYP 53,070,000 (new Syrian pounds).
• Final bond: 10% of the contract value, provided in Syrian pounds under Article 7 of the legal conditions booklet.
• Tender file price: SYP 10,000 (new Syrian pounds).

Delivery and Offer Validity

The delivery period is six months, and partial delivery is permitted. Delivery takes place at the Administration's warehouses. Bidders remain bound by their offers for three months.
