Scope of the Tender

The Alma town council in Daraa governorate has announced an urgent sealed-bid tender (increase or decrease method) for maintenance work using stone base material and asphalt paving on a road extending from the main road southward to the Sheikh Eid mosque in the town.

Technical Specifications

• Road length: 500 meters
• Road width: 5 meters
• Type of works: stone base maintenance and asphalt paving

The works will be carried out according to the technical, financial and legal terms and conditions, along with the bill of quantities and prices attached to the tender file.

Value and Execution Period

The estimated value of the project has been set at SYP 1,993,500 (one million nine hundred ninety three thousand five hundred Syrian pounds), with an execution period of 30 days from the date of award.

Bonds and Penalties

• Initial guarantee: 5% of the estimated value
• Final guarantee: 10% of the awarded value, payable within ten days of award
• Delay penalty: 0.001 (one per thousand) for each day of delay
• Bid validity period: 30 days
• Tender file price: SYP 1,000

Initial and final guarantees must be submitted as a certified check, bank guarantee, or bank transfer. Bids that do not comply with the conditions will be rejected.

Supervising Authority and Legal Framework

Matters not addressed in the announcement are governed by Law No. 51 of 2004 and its executive instructions, as well as the general terms and conditions issued under Decree No. 450 of 2004. The project file may be obtained by visiting the Alma town council during official working hours.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Alma town council office, with the final deadline set at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Bids will be opened the following morning at the Daraa Directorate of Technical Services.
