The General Company for Drinking Water and Sewerage in Aleppo has issued Announcement No. 14 of 2026 (second round), inviting sealed-envelope bids for the second phase of the project to rehabilitate manholes (inspection chambers) on conveyance canals, under a framework arrangement. The tender follows the technical specifications book, Law No. 51 of 2004 and General Conditions Book No. 450 of 2004.

Tender Scope

The works cover the rehabilitation of inspection chambers located along conveyance canals, as the second phase of the project, classed as a framework tender. The technical details of the works are set out in the technical specifications book, which bidders obtain from the issuing authority.

Value and Guarantees

• Estimated value: SYP 7,500,000 (new Syrian pounds).
• Initial guarantee: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.

Guarantees are paid by bank guarantee, bank transfer or certified cheque issued exclusively to the order of the institution. If a bid includes more than one partner, every partner must provide both the initial and the final guarantees.

Eligibility Requirements

• Required classification: buildings specialization, Excellent, First, Second or Third category.
• Supporting documents in line with Articles 11 and 14 of Law No. 51 of 2004.
• A subscription certificate in the Official Bulletin.
• Financial offer written out in words; bids that do not comply with the announcement terms are rejected.

The contractor bears all stamps and fees on the two contract copies, as well as the cost of publishing the announcement in newspapers twice.

Duration and Timeline

The execution period is 150 calendar days. The nominated contractor remains bound by its bid for ninety days from the bid-opening session. Bids are due by 15 November 2026 and are opened the following day at eleven o'clock at the company's headquarters.
