The Directorate of Technical Services in Aleppo has announced a first-round, fast-track tender by sealed envelope covering four road projects in the governorate's countryside. The estimates for the four projects add up to about SYP 46.4 million, the sum of the values stated for each project.

Projects on Offer

The tender is divided into the following projects, with the estimate and work duration for each:

• Widening of collapsed road shoulders on the Aleppo-Dara Azza road, 1,500 linear metres in total, with an estimate of SYP 20,231,500 and a work period of 100 days.
• Milling, paving and asphalting with a penetration-coat workshop (m.c.o) on the road linking Aziziyah and Tell Mamo toward the farmland of Southern Samaan, 2,500 linear metres in total, with an estimate of SYP 15,125,000 and a work period of 75 days.
• Remaining quarry works on the Jaara-Zeraa road, 3,500 metres, in the Safira area, with an estimate of SYP 4,479,200 and a work period of 30 days.
• Industrial works and paving with a penetration-coat workshop (m.c.o) on the road linking Ziyara and Tam al-Bir in Southern Samaan, 2,000 linear metres in total, with an estimate of SYP 6,604,000 and a work period of 75 days.

Required Contractor Classification

The tender requires classification in the roads and bridges specialty, and the accepted grades differ by project:

• Project one: excellent, first or second grade.
• Project two: excellent, first, second or third grade.
• Project three: second, third or fourth grade.
• Project four: first, second or third grade.

Bidders must meet the conditions set out in Article 11 of Law No. 51 of 2004.

Guarantees and Warranty

• Provisional bond: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final bond: 10% of the total contract value, to be completed within 15 days of written notification of award.
• Delay penalty: 0.1% (one per thousand) for each day of delay.
• Bid validity: 30 days for the bidder, and 150 days for the nominated contractor from notification of award.
• Warranty period: one full year from the date of the provisional handover record.

Dates and Venue

Bids are accepted until the end of official working hours on Sunday, 8 November 2026. Bids are opened at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, 9 November 2026, at the Directorate's headquarters in the Maidan district of Aleppo.

The contractor bears advertising and printing costs, and the tender file is priced at SYP 1,000 (new Syrian pounds). The conditions book can be consulted at the Contracts Division of the Directorate of Technical Services in Aleppo.
