Aleppo Industrial City has announced a second-call sealed-bid tender for infrastructure works in the expansion of the first zone (existing industries, engineering industries) within the city. The tender number is 106865, and the notice cites the project code LU18E.

Scope of the Tender

The notice covers the execution of infrastructure works in the expansion area allocated to existing engineering industries. The works are offered by sealed envelope under the contracts system issued by Law No. 51 of 2004.

Value and Guarantees

• Estimated bill of quantities value: SYP 27,201,260.
• Initial guarantee: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.
• Late-delivery penalty: 0.1% (one per thousand) of the award value.

Duration and Contractor Requirements

Bidders are bound to their offers for 120 days. The nominated contractor remains bound for a further 120 days, counted from the day after being notified of the award.

Bid Package

Offers are submitted to the Industrial City registry in a large envelope showing the bidder's name and the subject of the bid. It must contain two envelopes:

• First envelope: the supporting documents required by the contracts system, the initial guarantee, and the payment receipt for the tender file.
• Second envelope: the financial offer, carrying a fiscal stamp of SYP 1,500.

The contractor bears the full cost of the announcements, however many times they are published.
