The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Aleppo has announced, under Announcement No. 15 of 2026 (second round), a sealed-envelope tender for the rehabilitation of drinking water networks in the city of Aleppo (framework project). The tender is run under the technical specifications book, Law No. 51 of 2004, and General Conditions Book No. 450 of 2004.

Tender Scope

The tender covers rehabilitation works on drinking water networks in Aleppo and is classified as works under a framework arrangement. Details of the work items and quantities are set out in the technical specifications book, available through the company's contracts department.

Value and Duration

• Estimated value of the bill of quantities: SYP 30,000,000 (new Syrian pounds).
• Execution period: 180 calendar days.
• Tender file price: SYP 6,000 (new Syrian pounds).

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must hold a classification in the water and sewage networks specialty, in the Excellent, First or Second category.

Bidders must also submit supporting documents in line with Articles 11 and 14 of Law No. 51 of 2004, together with a subscription certificate for the Official Bulletin.

Guarantees and Obligations

• Initial bond: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final bond: 10% of the award value.
• Bonds are paid by guarantee, bank transfer or certified cheque issued exclusively to the order of the establishment.
• If a bid includes more than one partner, the initial and final bonds are provided by all partners.
• The selected contractor remains bound by its offer for ninety days from the bid-opening session.
• The contractor bears the stamps and fees on both copies of the contract and the cost of publishing the announcement in newspapers twice.
