The Presidency of Aleppo City Council has announced a sealed-envelope tender, first round under the fast-track procedure, registered under number 106800. It is held at the Directorate of Financial Affairs at 12:00 noon.

Scope of Works

The tender covers asphalt jacketing, tiling and edging works in Al-Jazmati district in front of the schools. It also covers the main road from Al-Jazmati roundabout to the Youth Housing roundabout, and is classified as miscellaneous maintenance.

The required contractor specialisation is third-class roads.

• Estimated bill of quantities value: SYP 16,982,406.
• Execution period: 60 days.
• Bid deadline: end of official working hours on Wednesday, 11 November 2026.
• Bids are opened at 12:00 noon on Thursday, 12 November 2026.

Payment follows the appropriations allocated in the 2026 budget.

Guarantees and Warranty

• Initial guarantee: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the total contract value.
• Delay penalty: 0.001 (one per thousand) of the total contract value for each day of delay.
• Warranty period: one full year from the date of the provisional handover record.

Contractor Obligations

• If a bid includes partners, all partners must submit the provisional and final guarantees among themselves.
• The contractor must pay the final guarantee within 15 days of notification of award, without prior warning, otherwise the initial guarantee is forfeited.
• The nominated contractor remains bound to its bid for 160 days from notification of award.
• A bidder remains bound to its offer for 20 days.
• The contractor bears all advertising fees, however many there may be.
