The Presidency of Aleppo City Council has announced a sealed-envelope tender for road paving and asphalting works in the Al-Nayrab neighbourhood (Al-Iman Mosque). The notice is issued for the first time under the expedited procedure, and the tender is run at the Directorate of Financial Affairs.

Project Scope

The project covers paving and asphalting of roads in Al-Nayrab, at the Al-Iman Mosque in the city of Aleppo. The required contractor specialisation is listed as fourth-class roads.

Value and Duration

• Estimated value of the bill of quantities: SYP 8,126,350 (new currency).
• Execution period: 60 days.
• Funding: payment is made under the allocations set in the 2026 budget.

• Bid submission deadline: end of official working hours on Wednesday, 11 November 2026.
• Bid opening: 12:00 noon on Thursday, 12 November 2026.

Bonds and Warranty

• Initial bond: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final bond: 10% of the total contract value.
• Late-delay penalty: one per thousand (0.001) of the total contract value per day of delay.
• Warranty period: one full year from the date of the provisional handover record.

Participation Terms

Where a bid includes partners, all partners must jointly provide the provisional and final bonds. The selected contractor must pay the final bond within 15 days of notification of the award, without prior warning, failing which the initial bond is forfeited.

The selected contractor remains bound to its bid for 160 days from notification of the award, and a bidder remains bound for 20 days. The contractor bears all advertising fees, however many there may be.
