The General Establishment of Road Transport has announced a domestic fast-track tender, using the addition-or-deduction method, for rainwater drainage and cleaning works on the central roads of Aleppo Governorate under the 2026 plan.

Scope and Value

The tender covers rainwater drainage and cleaning works on the central roads in Aleppo Governorate. The Establishment set the estimated bill of quantities value at SYP 9,566,500 and the contract duration at 365 calendar days.

Legal Framework

The tender is conducted under the Unified Public Entities Contracts System issued by Law No. 51 of 2004 and the General Conditions Book issued by Legislative Decree No. 450 of 2004. The special technical specifications and the special legal and financial conditions book also apply, and bidders are deemed to have reviewed the project file.

Eligibility Requirements

• A road and bridge contractor classification certificate, grade five or six (2026 classification), issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing for 2026. Bids without it are rejected.
• A receipt showing purchase of the tender file.
• Public construction institutions and companies receive a preferential margin: their prices are accepted if they exceed the lowest private sector price by no more than 10%.
