The Aga Khan Foundation (Syria) has announced a call for price offers from licensed contractors and engineering firms in the Syrian Arab Republic, under Announcement No. (99), reference AKF/099/26.

Scope of Work

The project covers connecting two new wells in Shomariya to a 100m3 storage tank, implementing a connecting line from that tank to the transmission line linked to a 1000m3 tank, and completing the electrical connection of the wells to the public grid, in accordance with the terms of reference.

Mandatory Site Visit

The Foundation has made a site visit a mandatory condition for participation. Interested bidders must submit their contact information through a dedicated online form, with the deadline for doing so set for Wednesday, 2 September 2026, at 4:00 PM.

Technical Inquiries

Bidders may submit technical questions about the tender through a designated online form, with the final date for receiving inquiries set for Monday, 7 September 2026. Responses will be published through a shared link that bidders are advised to check regularly to ensure they receive all information.

Submission Method

Bidders may submit offers in one of two ways:

• Electronically, by uploading the price offer and required files (licenses, technical offer, and financial offer, each in a separate folder) within a single password-protected folder via the designated link.
• In person, by delivering the required licenses and price offer in a sealed envelope to the reception desk at the Aga Khan Foundation building in Salamiyah before the final deadline.

Bid Opening Session

A public session for receiving and opening financial offers will be held before all bidders who submitted a price offer. Bidders may attend either in person at the Foundation's building or online, following specified steps that include submitting password-protected files and then disclosing the password during the session.

The final deadline for receiving tender files and financial offers, and opening them publicly, is Thursday, 10 September 2026, at 12:00 noon, at the Aga Khan Foundation building in Salamiyah, Anas bin Malik Street, behind the Sadcop fuel station.

The announcement clarified that its issuance does not constitute any commitment on the part of the Aga Khan Foundation toward bidders, and the Foundation reserves the right to extend or cancel the announcement period. Payment must be made exclusively via bank transfer to a bank account not subject to international sanctions, and bidders were advised to consult their chosen bank regarding withdrawal limits before submitting their offers.
