Tender Scope

Aga Khan Foundation (Syria) has issued a request for price offers to replace an old concrete irrigation canal with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes, together with the associated civil works, in Rif Dimashq. The notice is numbered 123 (an internal announcement) under reference AKF/123/26.

Eligible Bidders

The Foundation addressed the notice to licensed contractors, suppliers, engineering firms and specialists in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Key Dates

• Site visit: mandatory and a prerequisite for submitting an offer. The deadline to register contact details for the visit was Saturday, 10 October 2026 at 12:00 noon, and the Foundation will contact bidders to set the visit date.
• Technical inquiries: the last date to receive them was the end of Thursday, 15 October 2026.
• Receipt and opening of offers: Tuesday, 20 October 2026 at 12:00 noon, at the Foundation's building in Salamiyah (Anas bin Malik Street, behind the Sadcop fuel station).

Answers to technical inquiries are published in a folder designated by the Foundation, and bidders are urged to check it regularly. The Foundation has issued an addendum to the notice containing technical inquiries and their answers.

Payment Terms and Notes

The Foundation states that payment is made exclusively by bank transfer to a bank account not subject to international sanctions. Bidders are asked to consult their chosen bank about withdrawal limits before submitting a price offer.

The Foundation also notes that issuing the notice creates no obligation toward any bidder, and that it reserves the right to extend or cancel the announcement.
