About the project
Deir ez-Zor Water Company, in cooperation with Oxfam, is rehabilitating the Tarif water station, a drinking-water pumping station in the al-Tabni area of western rural Deir ez-Zor, near the Euphrates River.
Scope of works
- Installation of a solar power system of 302 panels rated at 725 W.
- Civil, electrical and rehabilitation works at the station.
Objective
To support the station's continuous operation and strengthen drinking-water services in the area.
Current stage
Works are under way, as announced by Deir ez-Zor Governorate on 8 September 2026.
