About the project
A rehabilitation project for the Takiyeh–Zabadani axis in Rif Dimashq, carried out by the Rif Dimashq Governorate under its “Our Countryside Is More Beautiful” campaign. The axis runs 16 km from the Zabadani bridge.
Scope of works
- A landscaped green median along the road
- New sidewalks
Objectives
Improving traffic flow and the road’s overall appearance, and raising the level of services for residents.
Current stage
Works are under way, as announced by the governorate on 18 September 2026.
