The project to transform the Mezzah Military Airport in Damascus into a dedicated civilian airport is an initiative announced by the General Civil Aviation Authority in Syria. This ideal location enables rapid transit for investors and diplomatic delegations, bypassing the roughly 25-kilometer drive to Damascus International Airport to the southeast.
